Entering a Natural Language Query

You may enter a query in the form of a sentence or question. The software will automatically identify the important words and phrases within your query and remove the "noise words". It will not remove noise words from a phrase that is within its vocabulary.

Example:

What is the state of the art in text retrieval?

The software will search for:

state of the art AND text AND retrieval

If concept expansion is enabled it will also search for all the possible meanings of your query. The default of the program is to locate answers within sentence proximity.
